Women veterans. Trailblazers. Stories worth preserving.

You don’t have to make history to become a part of history.

BEYOND THE RECORD

Official records document where a woman served, the duties she performed, and the honors she earned. Her own voice reveals what service demanded, how it shaped her life, and what she wants future generations to understand.

A LIVING LEGACY

Each recorded interview becomes a living legacy. It preserves a woman veteran’s voice for her family, her community, and future generations while ensuring that her service is remembered in her own words.

PRESERVING YOUR STORY

Her service. Her story. Her choice.

Your story remains yours to share. Interviews, recordings, photographs, and personal information will not be publicly shared or provided to outside organizations without your permission.

Her Service • Her Story is exploring partnerships with historical, educational, and archival organizations for long-term preservation. Any future archiving or public access will be guided by each participant's choices and documented consents.

“Tell it to your children, and let your children tell it to their children, and their children to the next generation.”

— Joel 1:3

— GET INVOLVED

Your Story Starts Here

Whether you served decades ago or recently, your experience matters. Begin with a private interest form, and we will guide you from there.

01 Express Interest

Complete the private interest form with your name, contact information, service branch, and preferred contact method. Your submission will not appear publicly.

02 Prepare Together

We will answer your questions, review the participant guide and consent choices, discuss what you may wish to share, and schedule a comfortable interview date.

Your Pace. Your Choices.

Your comfort and consent guide every step.

03 Record Your Story

During a compassionate oral-history interview, you remain in control of what you share. Your consent choices determine whether and how the recording may be preserved or shared.

Dignity • Choice • Legacy

Care • Respect

“We are not merely recording interviews. We are preserving history, one woman, one voice, and one story at a time.”
